Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring various types of flooring and wall tiles across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision craftsmanship, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments for tile installation
• Install a variety of flooring materials including ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, epoxy floors, hardwood, carpet, and terrazzo with precision and attention to detail
• Execute tile laying with accuracy, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and adhesion for long-lasting results
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install tiles according to specifications
• Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sealing, or repairing existing flooring surfaces to restore their appearance
• Follow construction safety protocols diligently while handling building materials and operating equipment on-site
• Assist in restoration projects involving water damage repair, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, or fixture installation as needed
• Support remodeling efforts by contributing to various building installation tasks with a handyman approach when required

Skills

• Proficiency in installing diverse flooring types including epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwoods, carpets, and tile laying techniques
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively
• Knowledge of building material installation standards with a focus on floor care and restoration industry practices
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely while adhering to building installation safety compliance
• Strong background in drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and general remodeling projects
• Capable of interpreting construction plans for precise fixture installation or renovation work
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to site safety and quality assurance
