TJ Office Furniture is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role includes receiving, inspecting, organizing, maintaining, and staging inventory while contributing to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional warehouse and showroom support area. This position represents the TJ Office Furniture brand by providing courteous service, assisting customers when needed, and ensuring products are prepared for sale or customer pickup.
Hours are flexible within normal business operations. Candidates must be available to work three Saturdays per month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as well as one to three weekdays per week based on business needs.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
· Receive incoming products and materials, including unloading trucks using a pallet jack and hand dolly.
· Inspect, clean, and prepare incoming products for resale, ensuring items are complete, functional, and in presentable condition.
· Pull, organize, and stage customer orders for scheduled pickup.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
· Perform light product maintenance, including cleaning, minor part replacement, and basic assembly as needed.
· Assist with inventory audits, product counts, and identifying inventory discrepancies.
· Complete additional duties, special projects, and operational tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand and remain active for the duration of the shift.
· Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and perform other physical movements required for warehouse work.
· Ability to communicate regularly and professionally with team members and customers.
· Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 pounds.
Pay: $18–$21 per hour
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
