Job Summary
Our Distribution Center (DC) is seeking a Training Specialist to help support the development and implementation of learning solutions. This person will play a key role in proactively coordinating and delivering new hire orientation, as well as coaching and administrative support of other programs in the DC.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates learning virtually & in-person by utilizing adult learning techniques, interactive elements, role plays, and technology delivered training.
- Supports the success of building wide/network wide programs through partnership with building & network leaders (e.g. Internship program, Distribution Leadership Program, etc.).
- Plans, schedules, and manages onboarding plans for new leaders
- Tracks & maintains training records and statistics for training programs, , etc.
- Provides post-training feedback and support to learners and their leaders on the job through continuous coaching and feedback.
- Evaluates learning programs and their impact, partnering with Learning and Development to modify, design and develop training programs and materials.
- Proactively plans, prioritizes, schedules and manages time based on curriculum calendar and business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
- Bilingual abilities are strongly preferred.
- Agile and flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong coaching, communication and facilitation skills.
- Attentive to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PPT, Excel, Power BI, Word & Teams).
- Passionate for development and building relationships in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in conducting needs analyses, instructional design, and adult learning theory preferred.
- Seeks to understand and make connections which result in engaging interactions.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships and influence others without authority.
- Comfortable with schedule flexibility to accommodate the needs of our DC Operations partners.
