Position Summary:
The Vice President of Global Project Collaboration is responsible for leading the company's global project collaboration strategy, cross-functional partnerships, and international project execution. This executive leadership role oversees strategic collaborations with internal business units, external partners, clients, vendors, and international stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of global initiatives. The Vice President of Global Project Collaboration works closely with executive leadership to strengthen organizational alignment, improve project governance, and accelerate business growth through effective global collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Project Collaboration Strategy- Develop and execute the company's global project collaboration strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and international growth plans.
- Establish collaboration frameworks that promote seamless coordination across global teams, business units, and strategic partners.
- Drive enterprise-wide collaboration standards, governance, and best practices for international projects.
- Advise executive leadership on strategic partnerships and collaborative business initiatives.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects involving Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Success teams.
- Ensure effective communication, resource alignment, and project execution across multiple departments and global regions.
- Resolve cross-functional challenges and remove obstacles affecting project delivery.
- Promote collaboration throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Build and manage relationships with international clients, technology partners, vendors, investors, and strategic alliances.
- Identify opportunities for joint ventures, strategic collaborations, and global business partnerships.
- Support contract negotiations, partnership agreements, and collaborative project planning.
- Strengthen long-term relationships that contribute to business growth and innovation.
- Establish governance processes to ensure consistent execution of international projects.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, timelines, quality standards, and overall performance.

- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for complex global initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams on cross-border project activities.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global project managers, program managers, and collaboration specialists.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish departmental KPIs, performance goals, and leadership development programs.
- Manage departmental budgets, external consulting relationships, and collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, International Business, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 12 years of progressive leadership experience in global project management, strategic partnerships, program management, or international business operations.
- Proven success leading multinational, cross-functional projects and strategic collaboration initiatives.
- Strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, organizational leadership, and business transformation.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and international partnerships.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, financial services, SaaS, technology, healthcare, or other multinational organizations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications.
- Experience with collaboration and project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Planview, or Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), global expansion, digital transformation, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
- International leadership experience and multilingual communication skills are highly desirable.
