Description/Responsibilities
Our Tax Manager supports the VP, Tax and Treasurer on corporate income tax matters including the preparation of income tax provisions (ASC 740); working with our tax outsourcing partner to complete federal and state tax returns; and researching tax issues relevant to the Company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Master of Taxation is a plus.
- CPA preferred.
- 5 years’ combined experience with a national accounting firm and/or corporate finance or tax department, preferred.
- Experience with ASC 740
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and tax reporting, as well as the ability to implement and comply with new state and federal requirements
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Oracle Financial Systems preferred
Note: We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a hybrid setting --- from home and also in our Franklin Tennessee office.
The salary range for this opportunity is $88,700 to $124,200. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
