Job Summary:
The Beautician will provide haircare and grooming services to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This includes shampoos, cuts, sets, styles, perms, and other basic beauty services.
Responsibilities:
Provide haircuts, shampoos, styling, and grooming services
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment
Build positive, respectful relationships with residents
Maintain appointment schedule and resident preferences
Ensure compliance with state cosmetology regulations and infection control protocols
Requirements:
Valid state cosmetology license
- Must own your own shop and have proof of insurance
Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate
Ability to work independently in a professional manner
