Custodian

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning, and janitorial services. This role is essential to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior custodial cleaning experience is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work in a quiet environment where attention to detail and reliability are key. Must be available to work Monday - Friday with flexible hours any time between 6am - 11pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility
• Maintain restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and other common areas to ensure they are hygienic and well-organized
• Handle custodial supplies inventory management and restocking as needed
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Support special cleaning projects as required

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial services or custodial work
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
• Good organizational skills for managing supplies and completing tasks efficiently
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
