Duties
- Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and attentive service from order taking to payment processing
- Operate POS systems
- Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring quick turnaround times while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining a clean workspace
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces, counters, and food handling stations
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash handling responsibilities, and reconcile register totals at shift end
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred, but not needed. We will train!!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Capable of operating kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food preparation or service tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Retail store experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not required
