The Title Processor/Settlement Agent plays a crucial role in managing the title processing and settlement functions within a title processing team. This role involves working independently to ensure smooth transaction closings by reviewing documents, coordinating settlements, and maintaining clear client communication. Occasional local travel may be required. We are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to act as a team player. Experience with recordings and title policies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review title and settlement documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and attorneys
- Maintain detailed and organized records of transactions and communications
- Resolve title or settlement issues promptly to ensure timely closings
- Facilitate transaction closings by preparing necessary documentation
- Enter data accurately into title and settlement systems
- Post-closing responsibilities-
- Coordinate document recordings and issuance of final title policies
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in title processing and office related skills
- New Jersey Title Insurance License
- Knowledge of title search and settlement procedures
- Strong document preparation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Accutitle/Accuair & CertifID
- Florida & Pennsylvania title experience a plus!
Salary : $25,000 - $70,000
