About Title Mark

Title Mark is a Minnesota-based title insurance agency with offices in Chaska, Waconia, Cokato, and Hutchinson. We specialize in residential and commercial real estate closings, providing buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate professionals throughout the region with expert title and closing services. Our team is known for accuracy, responsiveness, and a commitment to making every closing go smoothly.

Position Summary

The Closing Processor works alongside our licensed closers to move each real estate transaction from file-open to final policy issuance. You’ll coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and county offices — keeping every detail on track so that closings happen on time and files are completed correctly. This is a detail-oriented, client-facing role for someone who thrives on organization and thrives under deadline pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send scheduling notices to all parties involved in real estate closing transactions.
  • Request written payoff letters from existing mortgage lenders and verify payoff accuracy upon receipt.
  • Assist closers in clearing title issues on property.
  • Request closing packages from new lenders and prepare necessary closing documents.
  • Make time-sensitive changes to Closing Disclosures and other closing documents when the closer is unavailable.
  • Communicate with all parties by phone and in writing to ensure required documentation is received prior to closing.
  • Send signed documents to lenders for final funding approval and return documents within required timeframes.
  • Receipt and disburse funds appropriately after all closing documents are signed.
  • Prepare and send recording packages to the appropriate county within required timeframes.
  • Prepare and forward final short form title policies to lenders.
  • Follow up on post-closing items as needed to bring each file to completion.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 years of experience in title, real estate, mortgage lending, escrow, or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll be the voice of Title Mark with clients and lenders every day.
  • Aptitude for understanding real estate and legal concepts, documents, and terminology.
  • Ability to stay calm, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Availability to work overtime when closing volumes require it.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant certifications a plus.

Schedule & Work From Home

This is a full-time position based at our Chaska, MN office. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.

We offer up to 2 days of work from home per week to the extent that the closing schedule and workload allows. Because real estate closing volume is cyclical, there will be weeks where in-office presence is needed more frequently — flexibility and reliability are important.

Why Title Mark?

  • Locally owned and operated since 1985 — we’re a tight-knit team that takes pride in our work and our community.
  • Stable, growing company with multiple locations across the Minneapolis-area and Greater Minnesota.
  • Collaborative, professional culture where everyone’s contribution matters.
  • Opportunity to build deep expertise in real estate title and closing processes.
