About the Role
Titanium Fabrication Corporation (TiFab) is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector & Documentation Coordinator to support fabrication projects for defense, chemical, and oil & gas customers. This role is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections, maintaining material traceability, and preparing customer-facing quality documentation to ensure all projects meet applicable standards and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing quality background who enjoys balancing hands-on inspection work with detailed documentation and customer interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Perform dimensional and non-destructive inspections on in-process and completed work
- Witness and approve/reject fit-up and work-in-progress activities
- Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and maintain receiving documentation
- Maintain traceability records for materials and outside services
- Ensure final products meet customer, code, and quality requirements
- Prepare, organize, and submit customer quality documentation packages
- Coordinate inspections with customer representatives and inspectors
- Assist sales and engineering teams with quality and code-related questions
- Perform inspections at subcontractor/vendor facilities and document vendor performance
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
- Support continuous compliance with defense and manufacturing quality standards
Must-Have Skills and Experience (These are required for consideration.)
- Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with common inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience maintaining quality documentation and records
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice-to-Have Skills (These are preferred but not required.)
- Knowledge of welding and machining processes
- Experience with military specifications or defense manufacturing NDE/NDT certifications such as RT Level II, PT Level II, or UT Level II
- Experience supporting ASME, NAVSEA, or defense-related fabrication environments Vendor quality or supplier inspection experience
- Familiarity with material traceability systems

Additional Details
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM; Friday shortened shift
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 annually
- Travel: Occasional travel to subcontractor/vendor facilities may be required
- Certifications: NDE/NDT certifications preferred but not required
