Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health practices. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including dental extractions, fillings, and implant restorations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during all procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a dental office setting.
Available work days are Mondays and/or Wednesdays only.
