Duties
- Safely load, unload, and secure medical shipments using appropriate equipment such as cart and dolly. Drive a cargo van vehicle with along designated routes to deliver medical items promptly and accurately
- Load and organize deliveries efficiently to optimize route driving and minimize delays
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with healthcare staff and facility personnel during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records - via our driver's app on smart phone.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and proper handling of sensitive medical materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably in a healthcare or warehouse environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy items safely, including boxes and medical equipment, often requiring moving or heavy lifting skills
- Experience in route driving, load & unload procedures, and managing delivery schedules efficiently
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, moving items, and handling medical supplies
