Proposal Support Intern

Titan Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our Strategic Capture and Proposal Operations (SCPO) group. As an intern here, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in government contracting (Federal, DoD, and State, Local, and Educational [SLED]) and how to prepare and respond to government solicitations by working closely with our team of professionals.

You will be expected to assist with day-to-day operations, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in various tasks that support the department’s goals. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to your field of study, offering you a chance to develop skills, network with professionals, and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop Content for Future Opportunities: Work with SCPO staff to assemble and update a reusable body of content from existing bids; and review live solicitations to create templates and outlines for live bids based on Government requirements.
• Leverage Titan’s AI tools to develop capture and proposal artifacts.
• Assist with Current Bid Planning/Coordination: Provide assistance to proposal managers on preparation of proposals for new and recompete work.
• Bid/Proposal Support: Individual specific tasks will be assigned for department processes and tools review, as well as one-on-one job shadowing of any proposals in process.
• Assist with Operations & Data Cleanup: Work with the SCPO team to review, clean, and organize resumes, Past Performance, and other Proposal content. Audit and update internal databases for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Organize digital repositories (files, folders, shared drives, or tools). Help document and improve internal processes and workflows. Support basic data entry, tagging, and quality control tasks.
• Support Desktop Publishing Tasks: Format proposal documents in accordance with Government requirements and Titan style guides.
• Provide writing and editing support to include interviewing subject matter experts and preparing content based on feedback received.
• Provide General Support to the SCPO team, as needed: Contribute to other initiatives and responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  
  

You MUST Have

• Capability of working in a remote home office environment.
• Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team.
• Strong writing skills; experience with Microsoft suite of products
• Available 20-35 hours a week for a minimum of 4 months.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain focus in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

• An interest in learning more about the Federal, DoD, and SLED Government bid and proposal process.
  
  

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must also currently be enrolled in an accredited institution’s associate’s or bachelor’s program.
• Preferred areas of study: English, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, or similar.
