Role Description
We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief for a full-time, on-site position based in Minneapolis, MN. The Survey Crew Chief will oversee and execute various surveying tasks, including field data collection for land, topographic, and boundary surveys. This role will involve managing survey crews, coordinating with project teams, operating survey equipment such as total stations, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of survey data. Strong leadership and technical skills are essential to succeed in this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Topographic Surveys and data collection processes
- Strong expertise in Land Surveying, including Boundary Surveys and ALTA Surveys
- Skilled in the operation and use of Total Station equipment
- Proven ability to lead and manage a survey crew effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure data accuracy
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in surveying
- Proficiency in survey-related software and tools is a plus
- A degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
