Position Overview

Titan Talent Acquisition is partnering with an established company in the construction industry seeking an experienced Accounting & Billing Specialist to join its team.

This position will focus on customer invoicing, billing accuracy, maintaining job-related records, and coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong billing background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Enter and maintain job information, time cards, labor rates, and billing records.
• Work closely with management, operations, and other departments to gather and verify billing information.
• Review billing rates, labor classifications, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies involving time records, job coding, and invoicing.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, certificates of insurance, and other relevant documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing questions and account information.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, including billing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Construction or project-based billing experience preferred.
• Union billing experience preferred but NOT required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting or billing software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other departments.
