Marksman-Titan Security is currently hiring for a Lead Security Officer to work at a location in the Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Security Lead include but are not limited to:
• Supervise the day to day operations of an assigned Client site, including working as a security officer if needed• Manage a team of security officers, including participating in hiring, scheduling, payroll, training and development, coaching and discipline, and support.• Ensure client and employee satisfaction through building effective relationships and proactive communications and management • Complete operational procedures, including reviewing logs, shift responsibilities, patrol round information, and reporting, and update as needed• Handle escalated security issues or emergencies • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications of Security Supervisors:• Must be at least 21 years of age.• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)• 3 years’ experience as a security officer or directly related position • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisors:• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
