Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. As a Warehouse/Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, making deliveries, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles using appropriate equipment
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Assist with warehouse duties including inventory management and organizing stock
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving techniques and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
