Carpenter/Installer
Position Description:
Join our team as a Carpenter/Installer! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fabricate, construct, and install RF shielding components for a variety of commercial projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, construct, and install high-quality RF shielding components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Utilize a variety of woodworking and metalworking tools and equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Driver's License (non-CDL)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of proven experience in carpentry, including proficiency in using hand and power tools (saws, routers, jointers, etc.)
- Experience with metal fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, bending, shearing)
- Experience with RF shielding or related technologies
Travel:
- Limited travel is required for on-site installations at various locations throughout the United States.
- Travel typically involves Monday-Friday workweeks with weekend returns.
