Job Description:
In this role, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, community, and visitors. You will do foot patrols for your designated areas, vehicle patrols (if required for your position) for your designated post/location, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when needed. Your assigned post will differ depending on your experience, and availability. Our available sites are always changing, feel free to speak with a recruiter about position/location specifics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
- Ability to perform the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
- Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
- Knowledge of firearms is preferred
- Security experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
- Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
- Complete thorough and accurate incident reports as required
- Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
