Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the frameworks that form the backbone of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Your expertise in framing, metal building erection, and interpreting construction plans will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new builds to remodeling and restoration, utilizing your carpentry skills to bring architectural visions to life.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects.
• Construct wall frames, roof trusses, floor systems, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
• Install siding, drywall, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and perform roofing tasks to complete building exteriors.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in framing carpentry with a strong understanding of construction site procedures.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, tape measures, and power tools for precise measurements and cuts.
• Knowledge of masonry work, plastering, siding installation, and remodeling techniques is a plus.
• Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in various weather conditions.
• Basic math skills for calculating measurements and material quantities; familiarity with construction plans is essential.
• Valid experience operating heavy equipment related to construction sites is preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a safety-first mindset to uphold site safety protocols.
