A School Based Therapist is needed in New Haven, CT.

- The pay for this position is $70,400 for independent licensed and $60,000 for associate license

Responsibilities
- Monday – Friday (40 hours)
- Summers off
- Following the school schedule (10 month position)
- Provide individual and group therapy to children in a school-based health center
- Conduct evaluations and diagnoses of mental, emotional, developmental, and behavioral concerns using clinical standards of practice
- Develop and review treatment plans that are client-centered and strength-based
- Deliver clinical and consultative services to support students’ behavioral health needs
- Respond to mental health crises by assessing, formulating, and implementing intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with behavioral health staff, primary care clinicians, teachers, school administrators, and community providers to coordinate care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including intakes, progress notes, treatment plans, authorizations, billing, and licensure requirements
- Participate in professional and school-related activities such as IEP meetings, continuing education, clinical conferences, and community partnerships
- Uphold patient confidentiality in all aspects of care
Requirement
- Current and active LCSW, LPC, LMSW or LMFT licensed in the state of Connecticut
