RN Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Needed in Sanford, FL.

Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate - $30.09 – $34.87 (5 Years of experience)- $39.43 (10 years of experience)- $45.13 (17 years of experience)
- Sign-on Bonus $10,000
- Night Shift Differential: $4.50
- Weekend Shift Differential: $1.50
- Shifts: Days and Nights (rotating weekends)

Responsibilities
- Observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
- Health teaching and counseling for the ill, injured, or infirm.
- Promotion of wellness, health maintenance, and illness prevention.
- Administration of prescribed medications and treatments by authorized practitioners.
- Caring for patients in a 27-bed unit with a focus on Med/Tele Neuro & Cardiac, Post CAB, MIs/Chest pain, etc.
- Priority on patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- 1 yrs OF RECENT RN acute care experience required. Telemetry and Cardiac experience required
- If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license), we can consider and move forward.
- If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL, and once they pass, we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
- NIHSS Certification must be obtained within 30 days. Required to work under NIHSS credentials RN until the training certificate is obtained.
- Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
