LOCATION: Pipersville (On-site), PA – Must be able to reliably commute to this location Monday – Friday. Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm. A commute under 40 minutes works best.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling & Dispatching
Key Responsibilities
· Liaise with Operations Manager daily to review efficiencies, relay status of route, state any requirements for maintenance/repair or report issues that will impact the completion of the routes
· Scheduling and optimizing service routes focusing on route revenue and profitability; balance routes by truck, capacity, and route knowledge
· Assign and batch daily work orders, print, and upload to handhelds
· Reconciliation of daily routes and ensure completion accuracy
· New Routine Service Accounts: Set up container deliveries and service schedules for clients
· Update weekly reports
· Assist with hiring and onboarding process of new service staff (training on technology and procedures)
· Adjust schedules for weather, PTO, truck repairs and urgent requests
· Resolution of client issues relating to transportation and service
· Improve operational systems, processes and policies to maximize operational standards
Customer Service/Account Receivables Team Support
· Work closely with the customer service and sales team keeping them abreast of any current or potential operational limitation that may impact service levels
· Sponsored and community shred events - set up and monitoring
· Work with current and prospective clients to provide service options, schedule service and pricing
· Provide backup support for accounting periodically (invoicing, applying payments, remote deposit of checks

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma required, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of service scheduling/dispatch, fleet management or related experience
- Familiarity with a variety of transportation & distribution software, concepts, practices, and procedures. Apply AI tools to improve processes.
- Ability to work well independently and with the team, in a fast-paced environment with importance of detail and accuracy
- Ability to conduct business with a high standard of ethics and integrity
- Proficient with a solid understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills, focused on positive client experiences
- 7-year clear background check - local, state, federal

Compensation & Benefits
FULL TIME: First year range based on experience: $52,000 - $58,000; additional compensation & benefits include: 401K employer contributions (automatic 3% after 6 months), PTO, paid holidays, bonuses. INSURANCE: health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability; Optional: additional life, spousal life, and short-term disability.
