About the Job
We're seeking highly skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our team of healthcare professionals on assignment at a leading medical facility in Des Plaines, IL. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you'll work closely with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care.
- Assess patient condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- BCLS/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- At least 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist (previous travel experience not required)
