Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background of 3 years in HVAC systems maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems for commercial and industrial customers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals on commercial and industrial equipment
- Test systems to ensure proper operation
- Be familiar with various types of HVAC systems
- Repair or replace defective components using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site and ensure compliance with local codes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, specifically in a commercial and/or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and refrigeration
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and the ability to read schematics
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Monday to Friday

- Maine State Gas License (Preferred)
