Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall quality, profitability, and success of the restaurant, leading both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role requires a passionate hospitality professional who embodies excellence in every facet of the guest experience.

Essential Functions
Staff Management
- Hire, train, develop, evaluate, and coach on-site employees.
- Conduct regular training sessions, both formal and informal, with front-of-house staff.
- Ensure team members uphold Titan Hospitality’s core values and operational priorities.
- Share inspiration and ideas to motivate and engage staff.
- Handle personnel issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with staff and management.
- Conduct employee reviews and assessments as needed.
- Create and manage weekly front-of-house staff schedules.
Operational Responsibilities
- Delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and staff to achieve daily objectives and ensure consistent, exceptional service.
- Effectively manage the restaurant in the General Manager’s absence.
- Lead with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting Titan Hospitality’s culture and values.
- Implement new company policies and procedures by developing clear action plans and providing staff instruction.
- Continuously review operations to identify areas of concern, improvement, or opportunity.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing performance assessments for managers and staff.
- Create positive guest experiences by ensuring staff engages with guests, anticipates their needs, and exceeds expectations.
- Ensure compliance with standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Monitor and manage product and labor costs to meet company goals.
- Solicit and respond to guest feedback to enhance the dining experience.
- Train and coach staff on guest service principles and best practices.
- Uphold company policies on cash handling, safety, and security.
- Oversee and maintain POS system functionality.
- Assist with new menu rollouts and implementation.
- Develop creative solutions for operational improvements.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and participate in staff communication.
- Provide support in all areas of the restaurant during staffing challenges.
- Identify employee weaknesses and provide retraining as necessary.
Requirements
- Currently serving as an Assistant General Manager in a fine dining restaurant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
- Strong service standards, work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a demanding, fast-paced environment with efficiency and composure.
- Proven leadership ability to motivate, influence, and support team members in all roles.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with scheduling flexibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer operations.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and overall business operations.
- Classic wine service knowledge and food/beverage pairing expertise.
- Experience with event management, organization, and execution.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety protocols.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
