Job Description: Titan Forge is seeking physically capable and mechanically inclined individuals for a hands-on fabrication role. This position involves heavy-duty assembly of high-pressure steel piping systems. We are looking for reliable workers who can handle physically demanding tasks and precision assembly.
Important Note: This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position. You will be paid an hourly rate, but taxes will not be withheld. While this project addresses immediate production needs, there is potential for this to become a long-term arrangement for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and aptitude.
Daily Duties:
- Fabrication & Fitting: Operating an electric pipe threader to prepare materials, fitting parts to the pipe, and ensuring correct alignment before final assembly.
- Heavy Assembly: Manually tightening threaded steel pipe fittings using large (3ft) pipe wrenches and vices. You will have access to all necessary tools to complete the job efficiently.
- Finishing & Insulation: Wrapping heating elements around the structure and installing insulation to complete the assembly.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently, applying necessary torque and counter-force in 2-person teams.
- Precision & Safety: Ensuring all fittings are sealed correctly to withstand high pressure without leaks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Mechanical Knowledge: Mechanical knowledge related to pipe assembly or similar processes is required.
- Tool Usage: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment.
- Physical Ability: Basic physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials as needed. Must be able to exert significant force (body weight) on wrenches throughout the shift.
- Safety Focus: Strong understanding of safety procedures within a manufacturing facility.
- Experience: Prior experience with factory or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Reliability: We need consistent attendance and punctuality.

- 8:00 AM Start (Standard 8-hour shift)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
