Help Wanted: Assembler in the Fluid Control Industry
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that products are built to specifications and meet quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities-
- Assemble products and components into a final product according to blueprints, schematics, or work order instructions.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery for assembly.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery.
- Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment including shop cleaning / maintenance of work area and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Working with team members to meet production targets and communicate any issues or defects.
- Potentially keeping records of production quantities and times.
- Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment and wearing appropriate protective equipment.
- Requires consistent and reliable attendance, arriving on time for all scheduled shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications-
- A strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to use tools effectively.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in assembly and quality control.
- The ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of how to use a variety of hand and power tools
