Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to support a new boiler plant construction project in Providence, RI. The project is currently in the excavation phase and will progress into a full tilt-panel construction project. The SSHO will serve as the on-site safety lead, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies while providing proactive oversight throughout all phases of construction.
Required Qualification
- s5 years of construction safety experience, preferably on industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction projects
- .Experience serving as a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) or equivalent safety leadership role
- .Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly excavation and trenching safety requirements
- .Experience supporting projects involving excavation, concrete work, structural construction, or tilt-panel construction
- .Ability to conduct safety inspections, investigations, and corrective action implementation
- .Excellent communication and leadership skills
- .Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
Salary : $100 - $105
