Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Install/Service Technician to join our growing team in West Des Moines with Titan Climate Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and/or commercial settings.

Duties
- Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems in commercial and residential settings
- Perform routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on HVAC/R systems to ensure peak performance
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately install or repair complex mechanical and electrical components
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs involving plumbing, refrigeration, welding, and mechanical systems repair
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and document all system diagnostics and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or installer with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance preferred
- Construction experience or property maintenance background preferred for understanding building systems integration
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting across HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and appliances
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in welding, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment repair
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerants is required; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or HVAC/R are advantageous
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, van driving skills for field service operations, and working safely at heights or confined spaces
Qualifications
- 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $15.00 - $39.00 per hour
