The role

The Event Director is the central force behind growth, visibility, revenue and execution across an entire market ecosystem. You are the forward-facing ambassador of TitanCEO, the strategic leader and the hands-on operator. You build the community, you sell into it, you deliver for it, and you personally own the outcome.

Program Leadership & Execution

• Own every facet of the Titan 100 program in your markets, from nominations through the awards experience
• Keep timelines, budgets and strategic objectives aligned and on track
• Prioritize sharply and deliver on commitments without needing to be chased
• Hold a high bar for detail and excellence across every initiative

Growth & Business Development

• Identify, prospect and close sponsorship and partnership opportunities
• Own the pipeline and achieve annual sponsorship revenue goals
• Build long term relationships with sponsors and the broader business community that renew year after year
• Track lead generation, ROI and market performance, and adjust strategy to sustain growth

Relationship Management & Communication

• Lead, mentor and inspire your Program Manager and Program Coordinator
• Build and manage nomination and judging committees that raise the caliber of the applicant pool
• Cultivate current, future and past Titans so they stay valued, engaged and connected long after the award
• Communicate with clarity across every level, escalate early and bring solutions with the problem

Events, Marketing & Community Engagement

• Partner with your Program Manager to deliver every Titan 100 event seamlessly and on brand
• Secure venues and manage logistics on schedule and on budget
• Oversee video shoots, award ceremonies and community events
• Run organic marketing that drives engagement, renewals and sponsor visibility
• Maintain a strong, visible presence in your market and on LinkedIn

You have built something before and felt real ownership over whether it worked. You are equally comfortable closing a five figure sponsorship and walking a venue at 6am to check sightlines. You move fast, decide with incomplete information and follow through without being asked twice.You genuinely like people. Not networking, people. What you bring

• 7 years across program management, business development, marketing or event leadership, with real community building experience
• A track record closing sponsorships or partnerships and growing revenue
• Experience leading and mentoring a small team toward ambitious goals
• Comfort in the room with senior executives, holding your own and earning trust
• Strong organizational range, managing multiple priorities, budgets and deadlines at once
• Sharp written and verbal communication
• Fluency with CRM and project tools such as HubSpot, Asana, Salesforce and LinkedIn
• An entrepreneurial wiring that gets energized, not exhausted, by a fast growing company

What you get

Total compensation of $100,000 to $150,000, structured as base salary plus uncapped performance commission. Your market performance moves your number.Beyond the comp: you will personally build relationships with the most accomplished executives in your markets, year after year. There is no faster way to build a network of that caliber anywhere in business. Directors who do this role well leave with a rolodex most people spend a career trying to assemble.
