Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of building projects. The Construction Laborer will work under the supervision of project managers and skilled tradespeople to support daily operations on-site.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools
- Help with the demolition and removal of debris to maintain a clean work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, or electricians as needed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials, siding, framing and roofing.
- Ensure work areas are safe and free from hazards throughout the project duration
Skills
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus but not required; training will be provided
