AR – Credit & Collections Manager (On-Site Position)
Task & Description
AR – Credit & Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing Credit & Collections within the organization pertaining to the Bulk Fuel Accounts and Airline Accounts. This role ensures timely collections of outstanding receivables, evaluate credit risk, manage customer credit limits, and maintains a positive relationship with internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
o Evaluate customers creditworthiness by analyzing credit reports, financial statements, and payment history.
o Monitor AR Aging reports and initiate collection efforts for delinquent accounts
o Provide monthly AR Statement Collection performance reports to President of the Company
o Monitor and Resolve customers billing and payment disputes while working closely with the Billing Department and Airline Team
o Work closely with sales, dispatch, commercial team, billing team, and freight to assist with credit related issues for each account
o Recommend write-off’s or escalations
o Assist on projects on an as needed basis related to Credit Related Function
o Assist for Airline Prepayment Letters to ensure all Prepayment accounts are covered per their contract
o Assist and Attend Quarterly Year-To-Date Salesmen Meetings to go over accounts Credit and Collection Status
o Post Payments/ACH Wires, Transfers, and Returns
o Assist on Weekly Airline Collection Meetings to ensure Credit and Collections are being maintained
o Ability to prioritize multiple meetings and on-call questions regarding Credit for New Accounts or On-Hold Accounts with Dispatch
