Titan Florida LLC seeks a Quality Control Manager to work at the Pennsuco Complex located in Medley, Florida. This position is responsible for optimization of the quality of the Plant’s products and performance. This role will define and implement the short, medium and long-term strategies to meet our customers’ product quality requirements at optimum cost and in line with the company’s strategy and applicable standards
.
Responsibilitie
s:• Set the Quality department goals and objectives in line with the plant objectives and applicable engineering principle
s.• Ensure the safe work environment rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by the Quality department employees and contractor
s.• Define, follow‐up and optimize the Quality department expense
s.• Ensure adoption and adherence to Titan standards, norms and best practice
s.• Lead and develop the Quality department processes to meet desired requirements, improve operations and promote personnel developmen
t.• Supervise preparation, adoption and review of documentation of the Quality System to be in line with the Quality Assurance System (QAS
).• Take all appropriate actions to ensure that production targets, customer expectations and regulatory specifications are achieve
d.• Coordinate the implementation of the Quality Management System and monitor the application of the system in the plan
t.• Detect, investigate, and report any deviations in the specifications of the test results for all products. Make recommendations based on finding
s.• Report nonconformity and implement corrective action
s.• Manage the relationships with the certification agencies regarding product certification and approva
l.• Specify, commission, and qualify the new laboratory equipmen
t.• Establish a quality control plan for each step of the proces
s.• Establish specifications for quality of the plant’s raw materials, fuels, intermediate and finished product
s.• Establish quality procedures to be followed by the plant to ensure quality at all intermediary steps of the process and monitor their implementatio
n.• Assure compliance with the quality requirements listed in the contracts with customer
s.• Give feedback on the opportunities for product development presented by the Business Unit Marketing & Sales and contribute to the definition of new product specification

Qualificatio
