Assistant Product Manager

The Position

As an Assistant Product Manager, you are responsible for leading a team to ensure all our customers feel welcome and their needs are met. You will support the head product manager by ensuring the beauty care product department remains well stocked through studying sale trends and receiving products to the floor in a timely manner. Lastly and most importantly providing excellent customer service.

Starting pay range is $17-$20 based on experience with raises every 6 months.

Job Responsibilities

• Listen to customer feedback.
• Meeting with vendors to place orders.
• Study product sales to determine if bulk stock is needed.
• Maintain optimal stock on shelves and replenish through weekly ordering.
• Receive pallet shipments (lifting required up to 25lbs).
• Ensure proper presentation and organization on shelves.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized sales floor and warehouse.
• Cross-trained with cashier to assist busy hours.
• Customer service (resolve complaints)

Job Skills

• Beauty Care product knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team management.
• Basic computer skills (email, excel, data input)
• Additional education in Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail stores. 
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• Cashier experience.

Salary : $17 - $20
