Quality Assurance Technician (night shift)

Job Summary

Performs routine quality control inspections of packaging components (e.g., bottles, caps, labels, cartons) and finished packaged dietary supplements under close supervision. Follows SOPs and GMP guidelines to ensure all packaging materials meet established specifications. Maintains detailed records and communicates any quality issues to supervisors promptly.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Inspect incoming packaging components (labels, seals, bottles, etc.) against approved specifications.
• Conduct in-process line checks during packaging operations (e.g., correct lot coding, label placement, torque testing).
• Record inspection results in logbooks or electronic systems.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Support sample retention and labeling activities.
• Maintain clean and organized inspection work areas.
• Notify QC Supervisor or Packaging Lead of any deviations or discrepancies.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills
• Complete training on document control SOPs and retention policies
• Maintain accurate logs and filing systems (physical and electronic)
• Participate in QA/Document Control team meetings and training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
