Job Summary: Auto Repair Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and bilingual (SPANISH) Assistant Store Manager to join our growing team at a high-performance automotive shop that specializes in vehicles, lift kits, lowering kits, custom wheels and tires, and light mechanical work. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and lead a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to uphold quality standards, manage workflows, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about custom automotive work who thrives in both technical and customer-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the shop.
• Supervise and support technicians to ensure high-quality, timely completion of installations and repairs.
• Communicate with customers regarding services, timelines, costs, and vehicle needs in both English and Spanish.
• Schedule appointments, manage work orders, and prioritize workflow for maximum shop efficiency.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
• Manage and maintain parts and tire inventory, and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first attitude.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment in compliance with regulations.
• Help train and onboard new staff and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
• Monitor and report on shop KPIs such as productivity, sales, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on wheels, tires, and light mechanical work.
• Experience working with vehicles and custom installations (lift kits, lowering kits, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills in a retail or repair shop setting.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) — required, as a significant portion of our customer base is Spanish-speaking.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work:

Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
