We are a commercial truck and trailer repair company specializing in tractor-trailer tires, brakes, suspension, welding, and roadside assistance. We're seeking skilled and dependable Trailer and Roadside Mechanics to handle both on-site repairs and mobile service calls.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently in fast-paced, real-world conditions. We're also expanding our 24-hour service coverage and can set qualified mechanics up for round-the-clock service opportunities with strong earning potential.
What We Do
We focus exclusively on commercial truck and trailer service — no oil changes or light automotive work.
Our services include:
- Tire swaps, mount/dismount, balancing, and regrooving
- Brake, wheel seal, and suspension repairs
- Trailer lighting, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting
- Welding, fabrication, and structural repair
- Lockout service and roadside assistance
- On-site service calls at customer yards and fleet locations
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trailer and wheel-end issues (brakes, seals, shocks, etc.)
- Mount, dismount, balance, and regroove commercial tires (20" and larger)
- Perform on-site and roadside service calls safely and efficiently
- Maintain service truck, tools, and work area in top condition
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and office staff about parts, status, and repair updates
- Document all completed work accurately and professionally
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in truck, trailer, or heavy equipment repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills; welding experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy parts and tires safely
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Reliability, self-motivation, and attention to safety are essential
- Must be comfortable working independently and outdoors
