Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across multiple sectors including construction, agriculture, and transportation. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, brake repairs, and fluid checks to prevent breakdowns.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving hydraulics, suspensions, transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records detailing repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for each piece of equipment.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of machinery during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems such as Caterpillar or similar brands.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; ability to use power tools safely.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension alignment, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
