General Laborer / Material Handler

Castle Tire Laborer, $18/hour OT ($27/hour) over 40 hours worked, $200 Monthly Bonus (has paid out every month this year)

What to Expect: 

The General Laborer position involves performing a variety of tasks in all aspects of the plant’s functions and assisting the plant manager with other duties such as: 

• Derimmer: You will operate a gas-powered machine to safely remove rims from tires
• Route Helper: You will ride with a professional CDL driver and assist them with curbside collection  
• Processor: You will work with a team to hand unload tires from incoming trailers onto a conveyor belt for processing
• Tire Grade: You will work with the grade team to inspect tires for defects and hand load customer trailers

 Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally able to work in the United States
• Previous experience in a similar work environment  
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to work in elements of weather
• Physical requirements: while performing the duties of the job is to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, carry, and manipulate large and heavy tires up to 150 lbs
