What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Financial Planner position at Tiras Wealth Management?
We are looking to expand our private wealth advisory team with a Junior Financial Planner specializing in retirement analysis, tax reviews, investments, and estate planning.
Essential Job Functions:
· Develop client-ready comprehensive financial plans, retirement income projections, cash flow analysis, and net worth statements using MoneyGuide Pro and related tools.
· Perform in-depth tax reviews and projections using Hotlistiplan and other tools to identify proactive strategies that reduce tax liability and improve after-tax outcomes.
· Analyze external account statements for allocation, risk, tax impact, and strategic alignment while partnering with investment specialists and advisors to design and articulate portfolio solutions.
- Partner with advisors and Chief Client Strategy Officer to lead all aspects of new client onboarding.
· Provide research and support for planning topics, including insurance, pensions, Social Security, Medicare, and employee benefits.
· Review estate planning documents to deliver clear summaries and standard-of-care insights, while identifying next steps for beneficiary designations, ownership structures, and coordination with attorneys.
Specific Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree
· Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a wealth management, tax advisor, or financial planning role
· Strong sense of ownership, ability to prioritize, and work quickly and accurately
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
· CFP® designation, or equivalent experience preferred
- Series 7, 66 and insurance licenses a plus
· Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
Starting compensation of $100,000 but will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
