The RT Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations, supervising RT technicians, and ensuring all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (additional duties may be assigned)
- Lead and manage RT field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project execution
- Supervise, mentor, and support RT field technicians, promoting accountability and high performance
- Coordinate with client representatives to ensure satisfaction, clear communication, and alignment on project scope and expectations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, client specifications, and company policies
- Enforce company safety policies and promote a strong safety culture at all job sites
- Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams
- Identify and proactively address project risks, challenges, or deviations from plan
- Review and ensure accuracy and timely completion of all project documentation and client deliverables
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance; provide regular status updates to management
- Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and training of assigned personnel
- Support continuous improvement efforts in operations, safety, and quality
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong technical knowledge of RT equipment and field inspection processes
- Ability to perform and/or obtain certifications in: UTT, UTSW, MT, and Creaform (or applicable methods)
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in field environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

WORKING CONDITIONS
Internal: Primarily office-based with regular collaboration across departments
External: Periodic travel required for client meetings, field visits, audits, and industry engagement
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around job sites for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for computer and equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during site visits
- May require extended hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet project deadlines
