Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly.
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to excite our patrons and keep the menu fresh.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events or nightclub nights.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Previous food service experience including serving food and managing food safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is preferred.
