What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at TIPSY TURTLE?
What You’ll Do
- Pour beer, shots, and simple mixed drinks quickly and consistently
- Take orders, run the register, and handle cash accurately
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready for the next round
- Check IDs and follow all alcohol service laws
- Deal with drunk customers professionally and shut things down when needed
- Maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for regulars and new faces
- Open and close the bar as scheduled
What We’re Looking For
- Bartending experience preferred (dive bar or high-volume a plus)
- Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and busy shifts
- Strong people skills and the ability to handle tough situations
- Fast, efficient, and not afraid of hard work
- Must be legal drinking age and have (or get) alcohol service certification
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift kegs/cases when needed

- Can keep things moving when it’s slammed
- Don’t mind loud music, sticky floors, and long nights
