What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Scooper position at Tipsy Scoop?
Here at Tipsy Scoop we are looking for experienced, reliable and enthusiastic staff members to join our team. We are hiring and looking for candidates who can meet the following qualifications and requirements. - Keep storefront clean and orderly to DOH standards at all times; including taking initiative to clean and organize store appearance, and identify and report areas in need of clean up or maintenance.
- Prepare ice cream scoops and seasonal sundaes while creating a friendly, energetic atmosphere for customers.
- Assist with out of store deliveries, and packing take away pints of all ice cream flavors. Must be able to take public transportation and carry up to 30lbs.
- Handle all transactions, including cash sales, with customers and maintain familiarity with all products sold out of the storefront location.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding all aspects of the company including branding/social media, events/catering, deliveries, and nationwide shipping.
- Learn about the different aspects of the company to assist customers in all their purchases and direct all questions about services to the appropriate manager or area of the company.
- Take phone orders for catering, events, cakes, and pint deliveries
- Prep and hand out Grubhub and DoorDash orders.
- Communicate with team members on shop performance and provide feedback for further shop improvements to managers.
- Organize ice cream and pint freezers regularly to maintain inventory and create attractive displays.
- Monitor low stock items and notify managers on duty when items are low.
- Cleaning all areas of the store areas as directed by managers. Must be willing to clean bathrooms, walls and floors.
