What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Adult Services Librarian position at Tippecanoe County Public Library?
Tippecanoe County Public Library seeks a skilled manager to join our library team and commit to achieving our vision for over 150,000 area residents! We will hire a conscientious, customer-oriented manager with a commitment to public library service to lead our Adult Services department. Supervise four M.L.S. Librarians along with support staff as you formulate, deliver and evaluate programs and services. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic programmer and have seasoned problem-solving skills, the ability to make independent decisions and strong interpersonal and communications skills. Experience in community engagement and working with underserved populations is highly desirable.
This is a 40-hour position with occasional evenings and weekends required. Starting salary is commensurate with relevant work experience, skills, and education: $55,203.20 -$62,753.60/year. TCPL has an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience in a public library or any equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. ALA accredited MLS and Indiana State Library LC2 Certification required.
Salary : $55,203 - $62,753
