Baker/Cook

· Prepare and bake dough in the morning for the restaurant.

· Prepare menu items according to daily business, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by restaurant management.

· Prepare daily food prep according to the projected prep list, following recipes and safety procedures

· Follow all health code standards and protocol. Keeps area clean and well-stocked; keep equipment in proper working order.

· The line cook assists the Kitchen manager in the training of all new employees

· The line cook is responsible for reporting any food quantity or quality issues to the kitchen manager immediately or to the senior manager on shift when the kitchen manager is not in the building

· The line cook is responsible for the line being set up for service

· The line cooks assist the kitchen manager with daily line checks and helps address any food holding, equipment malfunction or food quality issues; when the kitchen manager is not in the building addressing these issues to the senior manager on shift

· The line cook is responsible for reporting immediately any employee related issues to the kitchen manager or to the senior manager on shift when the kitchen manager is not in the building

· The line cook assists the kitchen manager with putting together orders

· line cook places produce orders on the kitchen managers days off

· The line cook assists the kitchen manager with monthly inventory counts

· The line cook assists the kitchen manager with creating and executing daily specials

· Ensures timely preparation of food for the restaurant paying attention to quality and presentation.

· Follow opening and closing procedures as well as daily and weekly cleaning duties.

· Assist other stations and departments as needed.

· Help maintain an environment of teamwork and good will towards all team members.

· Other duties as assigned as needed by management.
