Educational Assistant – 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Tipp City Schools
Position Type: Full-Time | Classified Staff
Tipp City Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Educational Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports students and teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom activities, and the creation of a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning
- Maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
- Supervise students as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with others
Requirements
- Successful BCI and FBI background checks
- Ability to meet all state and district requirements for Educational Aides
