Educational Assistant – Grades 9-12 – 2026–2027 School Year

Position Type: Classified Staff
Tippecanoe High School is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support grades 9-12 students beginning the 2026–27 school year. The Educational Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to provide academic support, supervision, and individualized assistance to students, helping ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction under the guidance of licensed teachers
- Provide academic assistance and intervention to students as needed
- Supervise students during classroom, lunch, and other school activities
- Assist with behavior management, organization, and student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Assist with online learning platforms or remote assignments when needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Dependable, patient, and adaptable
